Our Mission Statment

As both veterans of the US Army and US Navy we know what it takes to ensure the discipline and dedication it takes to run a farm and to continue to improve in our two operations we have at hand. We dedicated our family to learn to live off the land and build upon self-sustainment in the milking dairy goats. We fell in love with bringing some old ways back to light and we wanted to share that with other families alike. How cool is it to have your own milk, make your own cheese and butter, and even better make your own thread! You don’t have to do it all but just learning and having the experience is worth everything!

Family Focus:

Goats: "Our mission is to produce and market high-quality milking goats to breeders, homesteaders, and pet owners alike, while ensuring the best personalities and dispositions to make management of our kids a breeze to work with.”

Rabbits:  “Our mission for our rabbits is to provide the purest and softest of fiber from our English Angoras but highlighting their friendliness and excellent health to ensure both pet and fiber enthusiast the best of both worlds.”

Belief & Ethics:

Goats: "We strive to produce a thriving herd that naturally gets to forage the several different species of forage from grass to brush and foliage over 7 acres of open fields. We give our herd the upmost importance of living as naturally as possible to ensure great gut flora, mineral intake natural resistance, and lots of exercise. We spend many hours in the field with our goats daily to recognize the differences and hierarchy within the herd to allow us to pin point any issues that might arise or just simply understanding each goat’s needs.”

Rabbits: “We pride ourselves in our rabbitry on cleanliness and proper nutrition to guarantee health and longevity to our bunnies. We excessively and particularly pay close attention to the fibers of each bunny ensuring good clean fur with sanitary shearing monthly to allow our bunnies to stay clean and mat free. We keep good airflow, air purifiers, and climate control to aid in their comfort. The bunnies are also handled daily by ourselves or our children. We frequently inspect the babies to ensure proper ear development, sizing, weight, and overall health as they grow, We believe a healthy bunny is a happy bunny and that includes continued stimulation for each rabbit.”
